Entry #1

Evaluator comments:

This Mini Oberhasli shows good breed character and balance to his body length and width but would improve with more length to the neck in keeping with his length of body. He would improve with some increased width in the rear and arch in the escutcheon as well as between the hocks with them being more perpendicular from hock to pastern. It is difficult to tell if he rises in the loin or if his masculine hair coat gives that appearance, but we would still like to see a more upstanding appearance overall to improve his score.

Entry #2

Evaluator comments:

A Mini La Mancha buckling showing excellent width and length, nice spring of rib and very correct on feet and legs. The dairy character is prominent with his angularity from side, front, rear and top. His upright head carriage flowing in to a neck that blends well in to the shoulders adds to his strength in general appearance. In body capacity he excels for a young buck, already showing increasing depth through the barrel and to go with his substantial spring of rib and brisket development. He also scores well in overall breed character and comes closest to ideal in this class of junior bucks and quite possibly the senior division as well.

Entry #3

Evaluator comments:

The Mini Nubian buck reviewed here shows great width and length of body for his age. He is very strong in feet and legs. He is already showing that increasing depth in the flank as well as development in the brisket. In breed character he scores well with his roman nose, full jaw and while we might give him a bit more length and drop to the ear, there is no doubt about his breed. He is an upstanding buck with, well angulated at the stifle, but a more correct set to the front legs would improve that angularity from the side. Over the top we would like to see greater spring of rib to give him more angularity from that view. The width through the escutcheon as well as his angularity from the rear are to be commended.
