This young doe has a lot of promise blended into a very immature body. In general appearance she needs more levelness in all three areas of her back as well as more smoothness of blending in the crops. She needs more extension of brisket and more correct strength and placement for fore legs. I really do appreciate her width of rump when viewed over the top. In body capacity she is not particularly long, but I see the spring of rib and the side between the hocks and width in the rump when we view the over the top photo. In dairy strength, she has a lot of angular and sharp features. She is clean in the through and clean in the flank. She shows good angle to the rear rib and good spring of rib. She needs more strength throughout but since she is a young first freshener, this may come with time. In mammary she lacks capacity when viewed from behind and in the profile picture. She has good size teats and a secure fore udder. In the rear udder, I’d like to see more width and area of attachment as well as capacity in general.
