This impressive junior buck exhibits strength and power throughout. His chest is deep, he is full at the crops and the point of elbow, deep in the heart, with excellent body capacity relative to his age. He has excellent width: in the chest, loin, rump and escutcheon. He stands on well-angled rear legs when viewed from the side, and straight, strong feet and legs when viewed from the front, side and rear. His topline is straight, strong and level, with withers slightly higher than his hips. His length and levelness of rump are to be commended.
Based on these observations, I would suggest using this buck when improvements in the strength in the topline, depth of body, levelness of the rump or strength in the feet and legs are desired. Unless one or more of those specific traits are desired in the offspring, I would suggest avoiding breeding him to overly course, heavy-boned does.

This classy junior buck shows a rare combination of elegance and smoothness throughout while maintaining masculine strength. He has a long, lean, yet strong neck that blends smoothly into a strong shoulders with prominent withers, point of shoulder and brisket. When viewed from all angles, he shows adequate width in chest, loin, and rump for a buck his size; when viewed from the rear, good width in the hocks is evident. He must be commended on his beautiful, long, bell-shaped ears.
Based on these observations, I would recommend using this buck when improvements in breed character or dairy strength, overall refinement and smoothness of blending are desired. Unless one or more of these specific traits are the primary reason for a pairing, I would suggest avoiding breeding him to does lacking levelness and length of rump.

This long-boned junior buck exhibits general openness and a clean bone structure. He has a long, lean neck and prominent withers above shoulder blades, and points of shoulder and elbow set tightly against the chest wall. When viewed from the side and rear, good spring of rib that increases into the flank is evident. When viewed from the side and rear, his toes point forward and are commendably tight. When viewed from the rear, he has a high escutcheon with thighs free of excess fleshing.
Based on these observations, I would recommend breeding this buck to does where strength of pasterns and feet, refinement, depth of heart or increased length of bone is desired. Unless one or more of those specific traits are desired in the offspring, I would suggest avoiding breeding him to overly course, heavy-boned does.
