Evaluator comments:

A powerful, deep-bodied, 3-year-old buck. Wide and masculine in head with good depth throughout. He should be straighter in the foreleg and legs should be positioned more directly pointing forward. Rear legs are correctly angulated. He is prominent in withers, and should blend more smoothly into chine area. Wide in loin but should be longer and wider in rump and carry width through the pins. Use to increase strength and substance.

This is a three-year-old buck. Very wide in muzzle and masculine about his head. He should be more Roman in head. His ear control is a problem in terms of breed character. He has a decent topline, carrying width throughout. Front legs could be straighter, they toe out slightly. Feet should be tighter in the toes. Substantial in bone but lacking angularity and dairyness.  Use to impart substance.

Evaluator comments:

Two-year-old buck with impressive length. Fore legs should be more directly set beneath withers. Well-blended in front and tight at elbows but he should be stronger in the front with more extension to brisket. Toes should be tighter. Good width at the hips and at the thurls.

At this point he is slightly high at the hips, making the rump steeper than it should be.  Use to increase length, stretch and blending.

Evaluator comments:

Yearling buck with proper set to front legs under withers. He is prominent in brisket with adequate width. Front legs toe out slightly and should be tighter and straighter with more depth of heel. Breed character about the head is desirable, but could be more Roman in the nose. Rump is too steep and should be longer. He needs more width and articulation in the rump area.

Use him for front end strength and correctness in leg set for does that already have straight forelegs.

Evaluator comments:

This is a yearling buck with a level correct topline and an impressive front end. He is correct in the shoulder assembly and is tight at the elbows. He toes out slightly in front legs. He has impressive breed character about the head, which is wide and deep. The topline is strong but could be more level in the rump. He should be straighter in front legs with more correct set to feet. He has desirable angulation in the rear legs. The rump is wide with space in the escutcheon.  Use him to give length and strength over topline; also to improve front end assembly.

Evaluator comments:

A powerful yearling buck with Impressive strength in front end, but he needs to blend more smoothly at juncture of the withers into the chine. He is wide over the top all the way to the pins. The thurls are low from side to side, but certainly wide enough. The thickness in the thighs is an indication of the need for more refinement, flatter bone and cleaner in dairy strength.  Use on refined dairy does who need more strength and bone.
