Evaluator comments:
This Mini-Nubian doe is showing excellent body capacity, being wide through the hips as well as deep from heart girth increasing to the flank. In mammary she has very nice attachment, high and wide in the rear with desirable width in the escutcheon and proper teat size. More definition in the medial suspensory ligament would add to her score in that area. In breed character, some additional length to the ear would improve the general appearance of the head. In overall balance, she would benefit from more length to the rump. In legs and feet she would improve with stronger, straighter front legs.

Evaluator comments:
The Mini-La Mancha doe shown here has a mammary system that shows excellent capacity for her size as well as a wide area of attachment allowing her to carry that udder close to the body proper. Teat size is excellent, but she would benefit from more proper teat placement. In body capacity she has excellent width seen in her substantial spring of rib, and increasing depth of barrel to the flank. More length to the neck would also add to her dairy character and general appearance and femininity. I would like to see her stronger and straighter on those front legs. She has excellent width between the hocks, but would improve in legs and feet with a more well angulated stifle and by being more perpendicular from hock to pastern.

Owner comments: 4th freshening, almost 4 months fresh. Had issues with barn, so production was down to about half of normal (i.e. udder not full).
Evaluator comments:
This doe is showing excellent body capacity in length, width and depth. Her angularity can be seen from all views and that along with her leanness of neck and clean thighs add to her dairy character. She blends well from the shoulders back to well sprung ribs. Her width continues from hips to pins. In mammary, she has a well-balanced mammary for the capacity she shows here yet she would benefit from more area of attachment in the rear and greater width in the escutcheon. She would benefit from more proper teat size. In breed character she shows a lot of strength and could only add to this by having those ears more relaxed or pendulous. A very balanced doe, she will score closest to the ideal for the senior does reviewed here.

Evaluator comments:
The Mini-La Mancha in this entry is showing excellent width over the shoulders, which she carries back through the hips and through a well rounded escutcheon. She excels in body capacity with her increased depth as well. I would like to see those elbows tighter to the body and stronger attachment at the shoulder for a more proper leg set when viewed from the front. More well angulated stifles would benefit her angularity from the side. In mammary she is showing excellent attachment and very smoothly blended in that fore udder with desirable capacity as well. She would benefit from some smoothness of blending in the front end assembly.
Evaluator comments:
The Mini-La Mancha shown here is standing on strong feet and legs and she excels in body capacity with that depth of body and width in the chest floor which increases back through the hips, with well sprung ribs. She would benefit in dairy character with greater leanness to the neck and more incurving at the thigh. In general appearance she would add more balance with some increased depth at the point of elbow. In mammary she is showing excellent capacity at 22 months fresh with a well-attached udder that is carried well above the hocks with excellent teat size and good placement. She is showing desirable breed character with gopher ears and a straight profile while still maintaining her feminine appearance.

Evaluator comments:
This Mini-Nubian doe excels in the mammary score. The attachment is high and wide in the rear and the fore udder attachment/blending is not as visible for comment, but we can see she has good proportion in that carriage from the side in a very capacious udder which we would improve in balance. She is a long bodied doe with good depth and length. She is angular over the top showing increasing width in spring of rib and through the hips. She is showing desirable openness and arch through the escutcheon. She would benefit from more levelness in the loin and rump. Her angularity in the rear would benefit from a leg set that is more perpendicular from hock to pastern. In breed character, she scores well showing that convex nose and bell-shaped ears with good drop.

Evaluator comments:
This Mini-Nubian doe is strong in angularity as we view her from the side with an upstanding appearance. Her long, lean neck blends well into the shoulder with desirable spring of rib and adds to her dairy character. Her mammary benefits from the smooth blending and extension in the fore udder and is carried wide and high in the rear with good width of escutcheon. Her capacity is proportionally strong. She would benefit from a bit more width in the chest floor. This doe is strong in her overall breed character.
