Dry Yearlings

Entry #1

Evaluator comments:

A very feminine doe, showing excellent width throughout. She is standing on strong feet and legs, showing well-sprung ribs giving her good dairy character and body capacity. She is very open back through the escutcheon. In breed character she scores well giving her excellent overall general appearance. She is correct in legs and feet. I would like to see her more upstanding in the front end to improve her angularity. This doe scores best in this class, being closer to the ideal than the other entrants.

Entry # 2

Evaluator comments:

This mini-nubian doe is showing strength body capacity with her depth in the heart girth increasing back into the flank as well and her width in the chest floor. She would benefit from greater levelness over the loin and greater levelness in the rump. She would improve with more well angulated stifles and front legs let more properly beneath her. Her dairy character would improve with more sharpness and less fleshing overall. In breed character she is showing the proper convex nose and bell shaped ears. For improvement there we would add more drop to the ear set.
